proud to be an Indian


Today we have completed  66 years of our independence and on this golden date of our history  we all should be thankful to the warriors, patriots , freedom fighters who fought for our country and gave us the most precious thing in the world i.e. “freedom” . we all are lucky that we are able to breathe in a country which is not bounded by any alien rule .
India is a land of diverse culture , religions , beliefs and its history itself is a evidence of its glory. India’s past is enriched with great achievements. In the field of astronomy and mathematics no one can touch the great Aryabhatt and Bhaskar, they opened the frontier of mankind the way Charak and Chanakya did. With the legends like Shankraacharya and Brihispati , India gave the widest range of philosophical system to the world . The work of scholars like Kalidas and Ved Vyas is known all over the world .India was the paradise of agricultural socities because it had level and fertile land , hundreds of rivers, forest and much more . She was rich in natural resourses. Therefore, since thousand of years people kept pouring in India because they found a comfortable life in here a country which was gifted by nature itself.
Today we have come this farthat India is counted among one of the “biggest republic democratic” country , enriched by young talent . All over the world Indians are ruling it . In NASA 36 % of the scientist are Indians and in Intel 17 %. In U.S. 12% doctors are from India and In IBM 28 % employees are from our own country . Pentium chip – due to which 90 % computers can run was invented by an Indian i.e. by Mr. Vinod Dham . World’s no. 1 e-mail programme hot-mail was invented by Mr. Sabeer Bhatia . with each and every new day , Indians are touching new heights and setting new examples, but , is it really so are we seriously the best ,  no not yet , it’s just the threshold to the tall ladder which will take ur to the Nadir or the highest point. Today we have everything , we are enriched with resourses , policies , world’s best constitution and we are technologically advanced too but still we are lagging behind just because of “mismanagement of government” . This is the reason why india is still considered as developing country , even after 66 years of independence . However , there are many more reasons behind it but the solution is only one and i.e. unity . So, let’s unite leaving behind all the difference based on any kind of criteria , then only we will be “free” in real terms .
At this independence day , let’s get free from all social evils, our careless behavior towards our country , corruption , social and gender differences and become responsible citizens of our proud nation.
Lets us pledge to build  strong India because its our country and we are its future.

Juvenile Justice Act needs amendment

Mohit , a 17 year old teenager , murdered three members of his family but rather than punishing him under criminal laws, he was sent to prison in rehabilitation centre . However, on the other hand , if the same crime was committed by a person of 18 + he must have registered under some section of IPC . As a result of which he will be awarded with capital punishment .   Any juvenile can commit heinous crimes like rape , murder can get away with it , this is what , such kinds of verdicts reflects .
